Seychelles Visa Requirements For Ghanaian Passport Holders
The good news is that Ghanaian passport holders do not require a visa to enter Seychelles. However, travelers must meet the following conditions to be issued a Visitor’s Permit on arrival:
- Hold a valid passport (valid for the entire duration of stay and return to home country)
- Not be listed as a prohibited immigrant
- Must not already hold a residence permit in Seychelles
- Provide proof of confirmed accommodation
- Show a return or onward ticket
- Present proof of sufficient funds (minimum $150 per day of stay)
Before departure, all visitors must also complete the mandatory immigration procedures online. Access the immigration portal here: https://seychelles.govtas.com/
Important Note:
You must provide your correct residential or hotel address in Seychelles. If your accommodation details change after arrival, you are required to notify the Department of Immigration immediately.
Seychelles Visa Fees
While there is no visa fee for Ghanaian citizens entering Seychelles for tourism or short stays, the Visitor’s Permit is issued upon arrival free of charge for the first 30 days. If you wish to stay beyond the initial 30 days, you may apply for an extension, subject to approval and applicable fees.
Extensions are typically granted in blocks of 3 months up to a maximum of 12 months, with associated administrative charges.
