Slovenia Visa Requirements For Ghanaian Passport Holders

Ghanaian citizens require a Schengen visa to travel to Slovenia. As Slovenia is a Schengen Area member, a visa issued by the Embassy of Spain will allow entry not only to Spain but also to Slovenia and other Schengen countries — provided Slovenia is the main destination.

Basic documents required include:

  • A completed and signed Schengen visa application form
  • A valid Ghanaian passport (minimum validity of 3 months beyond return date)
  • Two recent passport-sized photos
  • Proof of travel arrangements (flight bookings, accommodation, travel insurance)
  • Proof of financial means (bank statements, employment letter)
  • Visa fee payment receipt
  • Any other documents as per the specific travel purpose (tourism, business, etc.)

Applicants are required to book an appointment in advance via BLS International before visiting the visa center.

Slovenia Visa Fees

As of the latest update, the Schengen visa fee applicable to Ghanaian passport holders is:

  • Adults: €90
  • Children (6–12 years): €45
  • Children under 6: Free

Note: Service charges by BLS International may apply in addition to the visa fee.
